Best of British..

You might be thinking that I have caught the "Royal Wedding fever", but in fact I have designed these cushions for the men in our life. I always try and design with a contemporary twist and this cushion is no exception, the union jack is off centre for a more arty feel. The range I am working on is Best of British, and these cushions are for men with dens, or batchelor pads or just for some quirky fun. They are made from 100% denim so they are strong and durable and easy to maintain a good look. So far the men that have had a sneak peak have given me very positive feedback and have tried to steal my prototype. I had not realised how mathematical the union jack was and I had to have help working out the ratios for the stripe widths in relation to the size of the cushion(yes, it was a man's help, sorry ladies I have let you down). This range will be available at MG live at Silverstone from June 24th-26th. I hope to see all you guys there. x

Easter Blessings

And as promised the second Easter card. This is such a pure looking card, you could change this card to use as a Christening card by exchanging the wording down the side. The cardstock used is Payper box, its a 51/2" square card with the front partially folded back to reveal the handmade paper insert and of couse the sentiment Easter Blessings., which has been printed on vellum through the printer. The cross is cut from the Sizzix die and held in place with brads. The background paper is embossed using the cuttlebug dot embossing folder matted onto silver cardstock. As usual, its all stitched in place. Happy Easter crafters. xx

Cracked..

I have been a naughty blogger! Creative time has just not happened BUT now...its all systems go. As Easter is fast approaching it would not be the same if I didn't blog an Easter card or two. The first being the Cracked egg. The cardstock is Bazzill, the background paper I have printed myself, the font used is socially awkward(one of my favourites) its such a clear and fun font to use. The egg is made using a die cut. Stitching, well there is alot and the Easter has been cut using a die cut alphabet. Until laters my fellow crafters!xx

Puppy love

If you are looking for super cute, then look no further. Here is a Mother's Day card with a difference, this card will be given by Gizmo(the cute puppy) to his "Mum" and what better way than to include a photo of Gizmo himself?

This card is a double easel style but I have varied the height in which they stand for more interest.

The heart texture is created using a sizzix embossing folder, the paw print is cut from SU punches, ribbon is also SU. The Woof is stamped on using an inchie dog stamp and of course it is stitched with a little bit of bling using the pink gems.

How adorable is he? I think his "Mum" is going to love it!! xx
